Lang Wyatt completed the construction of a $1.35 million new building in the middle of an active transit center site in Sierra Vista, Arizona, near the US/Mexico border. The new building and outside bus shelters provide facilities for transit system riders and employees. There are public restrooms, a spacious lounge area, and multiple offices.
The striking, modern architecture of the facility highlights large expanses of glass and recycled steel, highly efficient electrical and HVAC systems, and many other features of sustainable design. The building isLEED® registered and is expected to achieve a LEED® Silver Rating.
